MY CITIES.
There are two cities from where I belong.
The 1st one is my native birth city SADIQ ABAD and the 2nd
one is LAHORE where I am residing at present.
SADIQ ABAD.

As I have already mentioned that
basically I belong to
SADIQ Abad which is my native city where I was born and
enjoyed such a very good life. My whole family set up and rest of the family
members live there. SADIQ Abad is situated near about 600 km away and in the
middle in between
Karachi (The 1st
biggest city of Pakistan and the capital of Province of
Sindh and
Lahore
(The 2nd
biggest city of Pakistan and the capital of Province
Punjab. SADIQ Abad is situated
in District
Rahim Yar Khan and it is the last tehsil of Punjab. It is the only
Tehsil in Pakistan whose boundaries touches three provinces i.e. Punjab, Sindh
and Balouchistan. This area is very famous for its rich cultivated land and in
agricultural sector. Our main crops are cotton, sugar cane and wheat. It is
called that this area produces the best quality of Cotton stuff in the world.
There are more than 30 Cotton Ginning Factories, 20 Oil Mills which produces
cotton seed and oil cakes, 7 roller flour mills, one grand sugar mill named
united sugar mills ltd. and Asia’s one of the biggest fertilizer factories named
Fauji fertilizer co. ltd. (FFC).
The name of city was taken from the last
ruler of the Ex-State of Bahawal Pur His Highness NAWAB SIR SADIQ MUHAMMED KHAN ABBASI ESQ.
It is situated on
Main Railway line and on Main
Highway called Shahrah-i-Pakistan which starts from Karachi (the biggest port of
Pakistan) and ends to Khunjarab Pass on the border of China at Shahrah-i-Resham.
One can GET his rail or transport from SADIQ Abad according to his capacity and
pocket to reach its destination with in Pakistan. An International air port is
situated at District Head Quarter RAHIM YAR Khan which is 30 km away from SADIQ
Abad where the Boeing crafts land and fly for whole of the country.
WORTH SEEING SIGHT AT SADIQ ABAD.
There are some places which are famous
for its beauty and sight seeing at SADIQ Abad.
BAGH-I-BAHISHT. (The Garden of Heaven).
It is one of the most beautiful and
biggest gardens of this area. It is 5 km far from SADIQ Abad. Its 1st
owner was Meer Syed Abid Hussain Esq. who had built this garden. The garden
consists upon more than 75 acrs. After his death, his only son MEER SYED Zahid
Hussain Esq. reconstructed it with his full zeal and zest and brought the each
and every plant from all over the world and made it the beautiful lest one of
this area. After his death in 2003, his only son Meer Syed Fazal Ellahi Fazli is
maintaining it with the same spirit of his father and grandfather and still
improving. This garden is, although, the private but also open for the public at
prescribed hours and days.
MEER SYED ZAHID HUSSAIN’S LIBRARY.
Late Meer Syed Zahid Hussain Esq. made a
very good and the biggest personal library of this area which has very antique
collection of books on each and every topic. Some books including Quran Shareef
are very very old and hand written scripts which are very prestigious back
ground. Now, his only son Meer Syed Fazal Ellahi Fazli is maintaining this
library. This library is also open for public.
RAIS GHAZI’S MASJID (MOSQUE) AT BHONG.
this MASJID is also a great asset for the
whole Muslim world. It is situated 20 km away from SADIQ Abad. Although, it is a
small MASJID but one of the most beautiful lest masjids in the world and was
awarded “THE AGHA KHAN AWARD FOR THE BEAUTIFUL MASJID OF THE WORLD 1984-1986” some years
ago. RAIS Muhammed Ghazi who was the biggest land lord of BHONG tehsil SADIQ
Abad made it with whole heartedly.
FAUJI FERTILIZER FACTORY, MACHI GOTH .
This factory is 5 km far from SADIQ Abad
and one of the biggest fertilizer factories in Asia. It was build by
Fauji
Foundation which is for old/ex-army servants. It was constructed in 1974 and was
completed in 1979.
GUDDU BARRAGE, KASHMORE.
Guddu Barrage is 45 km away from SADIQ
Abad and situated in the province of Sindh. It is one of the biggest barrages of
Pakistan on River Sindh (Indus) which is famous for its Blind Dolphins
all over the world. From this barrage, the water which is stored supplied to
Sindh province.
SUI, BALOUCHISTAN.
SUI is a very famous place in Pakistan,
which is 80 km far from SADIQ Abad and is situated in Balouchistan Province. SUI
is famous for its natural gas resources and the natural gas is supplied through
out Pakistan from here. It is called that its natural gas resources are one of
the biggest in the world and sufficient for Pakistan for more hundred years.
Besides this, there are so many private
garden like Makhdoom Garden at Jamal Din Wali, Leghari Garden at RAHIM Abad etc.

My 2nd city where I presently
live is LAHORE which is the 2nd biggest city of Pakistan as well as
the capital of Province Punjab. Lahore is a very beautiful historical city of
Pakistan which is famous for its people and rich culture. In Punjabi, it is
called
“JIS NAY LAHORE NAHI DEKHIA O JAMAI HI NAHI” (The person who has not seen
the city of Lahore, his birth has not taken place).
After 1965 – Pak India War, this city was
awarded
“HILAL-I-ISTAQLAL” which was AWARDED for the braveness and liveliness of
citizens of
Lahore,
SARGODHA
AND
SIALKOT.
There are so many worth seeing historical
places and some most famous among them are Mazar (Tomb) of Hazrat Syed Ali
Hajvery alias Hazrat Data Ganj Bakhsh Rehmat Tullah Alaih. There are more than
20 Aulia Allah (saints) are sleeping here in the city of Lahore i.e. Hazrat
Madhu Lal Hussain (r.a), Hazrat Mian Meer Sahib (r.a), Hazrat Fazal Shah (r.a)
etc. etc. Shahenshah (Emperor) of Sub-Continent India Qutab-ud-Din Aibak is
sleeping at Famous and beautiful Anarkali Bazaar. Mughal Shahenshah (Emperor)
Jehangir and his beloved Malkah (queen) Noor-e-Jehan are also sleeping at the
bank of River Ravi. Shahi Qila (fort), Badshahi Masjid (mosque), Mazar (tomb) of
Shair-e-Mashriq (the poet of the east) Hazrat dr. Sir Allamah Muhammad Iqbal who
had seen the dream of Pakistan, is also sleeping in between Shahi Qila (fort)
and Badshahi Masjid (mosque).
Lahore
is famous for its beautiful gardens and parks. Bagh-i-Jinnah (Jinnah Garden),
Shalimar Bagh (garden), Allamah Iqbal Town Park, Model Town Park, Race Course
Ground Park, Jallo Park and Changa Manga Park (which is 80 km far from Lahore
and the biggest man made forest in the sub-continent Pakistan and India) and
many others have increased its natural beauty.
There are one river called
River Ravi and two main canal situated in
the city. The big and the most famous one is
“BRB Canal”, this canal is
situated near the border of India and world wide fame for its defense point of
view. In 1965 – Pakistan India war, Indian Army could not crossed it at its
utmost struggle. This canal is situated in Pakistani border at near about 4 km
away from Indian border. The 2nd canal is situated in the heart of
the city called “Lahore Canal” and is decorated with coloured fountains and
beautiful lighting. There are more than a half dozan under way passes along the
both side of "Lahore Canal" which crosses the famous Shahrah-i-Quaid-i-Azam (the
Mall), Feroze Pur road, Jail Road, and Punjab University Road which are one of
its kind in Sub-Continent Pakistan-India.
An other famous building is called
“Minar-i-Pakistan” (Tower of Pakistan) and was built in the memory of
“Qardad-e-Pakistan” (Pakistan Resolution) which was passed on 23rd
March, 1940 in this place which this minor built. Here, there is built a great
park which is one of the biggest parks in Lahore.
Lahore
is linked with whole of the country through Air, Rail and Road. One can travel
across the country at any time. Road transport is available 24 hours for whole
of the country, where one can get its transport according to his pocket and
choice.
Moreover, Lahore is famous for its best
quality education. After Karachi, Lahore is the # 2 biggest centers in Pakistan
in education. There are so many educational canters in Lahore which are famous
for its quality educations. Among them,
